Hey there! My name is Kim and I’m a passionate Jesus-follower and globe-trotter.  My zest for travel was ignited when I studied abroad in Salamanca, Spain, and only deepened when I returned to live in Sevilla, Spain for a year following my undergraduate studies.  During that time I backpacked over 15 countries in Western and Eastern Europe. Following those travels, I returned home and earned a doctorate in physical therapy.  Before starting my career, I backpacked South America.  I worked for six years as a sports medicine physical therapist, continuing to take as many far-flung vacations as my career would allow, including backpacking Southeast Asia.

In August of 2015 I quit my job to travel around the world solo for four months.  During that journey with God, interwoven with all the sights, sounds, tastes, and experiences of the rich cultures of the nine countries I visited, He also gently took off all the masks I had been wearing to please others and revealed to me my true self, the person He created me to be that was buried deep under years and years of parental and societal expectations, perfectionism, striving, and control.

My hope is that this will be a space where my words and photos will inspire you to live your life as your true self, the person that God created you to be, instead of just living the life that you feel like you “should” but doesn’t allow you to come alive.  I would love for us to go on this crazy adventure together-the adventure to actually being comfortable in our own skin, in our God-given identities, and in who He uniquely created us to be.  I believe that when we are living fully alive as our true selves that we can shine the most brightly for Him and make the most positive impact on the world around us.

Thanks for stopping by!
